Upper limb spasticity

Upper limb spasticity can occur in patients who have had a stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injuries, or Spinal Cord injuries. Botox is FDA approved to treat Upper Limb Spasticity.

It is a very effective treatment, and may allow patients to stop taking medications that at times cause drowsiness or other side effects. Injections are done with a small needle, are minimally uncomfortable, and can be repeated at 3 or 4 month intervals for continued benefit.

Our physicians are offering this treatment in the office. Treatment is usually covered by Medicare and most commercial insurance companies. Please call our office at 602-482-2116 for more information.
